Aligning Comms

VRS Veroca R. Sala Public Seen by 169

I am the volunteer Uncoordinator and Korg member.

This Thread is to align about the content we need to post on our coms. This thread should be in the Communicorns Group, to gain participation I use the planning group ( Eventually i could move it to the Comms parent group)

We don't really have a communication lead and I see the need to coordinate this because we have a few happenings in the upcoming weeks and we want to avoid spamming our liebe kiezburners.

Our Channels:

  • We have a special newsletter for ticketholders

  • Telegram channel with over 700 subscribers

  • Facebook with over 4000 members

  • @Veroca R. Sala (volunteers uncoordination and recruitment - telegram channel). Will be making the copy for Facebook posts and Telegram.

  • @Rafa, will be proofreading my copy + making the graphics for all FB posts and scheduling the posts as well.

I tag the following humans:

  • @Nora Flora (newsletter) FYI

  • @Cairn (Clément) ( site planning) FYI in case you need to announce site map closing.

  • @Erin Jeavons-Fellows @Relativity Rltvty ( Kieze facilitation ) FYI in case you want to announce Kieze registration period ends or any other initiative to bring together those campers without camp.Add in the comments so we know how comes.

  • Moderating? Nobody & Everybody

  • @Myriam TheWanderer when is the vehicle registration form coming out? And when does it end? So to create graphics and plan posts accordingly

  • @Jarrod Wright when the performances sign up starts and end?

  • @Professor Kaos when does the ticket transfer starts?

    REALIZERS:

I updated it, thanks again 😊

It's almost embarrassing that I didn't think of it myself 😅

You can spread this however you see fit, I'm happy when many people see it, because the early information might avoid discussions on site 😊

And yes, I consent that you touch, grope and form my baby at your leisure 😅

Thanks for your support in spreading and making it prettier ❤

Tagging @Nora Flora to get it in the Newsletter when it's prepared.

That was not what I asked at all. I have 0 problem with those measures.
I was just wondering if I understood right that gas cookers will only be allowed to use at level 3 or below. No gas cooking whatsoever at level 4 and 5?

NF

Nora Flora Thu 15 Jul 2021 2:01PM

Does this mean all approved gas cookers will also only be used as long as it stays at Waldbrandstufe 3 or below?! @Purzel

Unless @Purzel responds in time with something contrary, my understanding and personal opinion is that these rules are totally reasonable even for level 3 fire hazard, not just level 5 or 4. A stable, normal height table to put it on and a fire extinguisher are common sense safety measures, and are rather reasonable requests that should be achievable by any camp.

Sorry, I misunderstood.... I thought you meant the other way around. As I understand it, the rules as they were written were written for/with the expectation that we will be at level 4 or 5. The same rules, imo, should still apply if we were lucky and the level goes down to level 3.

I honestly don't know (and didn't find the info for MV) at which level gas cooker would be allowed.

The current approach is that we will likely look at 4-5 during the event, which equals the measurements above. No gas cookers allowed except with the mentioned safety measurements. So yes, with the measurements taken, gas cooker can be used even with a level 4-5 (I misunderstood the question as well 😅)

And generaly no bon fires or barbecues.

If we end up with 3 or less I believe it's far easier to loosen up the rules rather than trying to tighten them during the event.

sorry, afraid there still might be confusion, so let's put it this way:

rules as stated = no gas cookers allowed except with the mentioned safety measurements here: https://talk.kiezburn.org/d/e7tCUY4X/fire-safety-and-security-

level 1: rules as stated apply (unless @Purzel changes the rules on-site and lets everyone know)
level 2: rules as stated apply (unless @Purzel changes the rules on-site and lets everyone know)
level 3: rules as stated apply (unless @Purzel changes the rules on-site and lets everyone know)
level 4: rules as stated apply
level 5: rules as stated apply
