Aligning Comms

I am the volunteer Uncoordinator and Korg member.

This Thread is to align about the content we need to post on our coms. This thread should be in the Communicorns Group, to gain participation I use the planning group ( Eventually i could move it to the Comms parent group)

We don't really have a communication lead and I see the need to coordinate this because we have a few happenings in the upcoming weeks and we want to avoid spamming our liebe kiezburners.

Our Channels:

  • We have a special newsletter for ticketholders

  • Telegram channel with over 700 subscribers

  • Facebook with over 4000 members

  • @Veroca R. Sala (volunteers uncoordination and recruitment - telegram channel). Will be making the copy for Facebook posts and Telegram.

  • @Rafa, will be proofreading my copy + making the graphics for all FB posts and scheduling the posts as well.

  • @Cairn (Clément) ( site planning) FYI in case you need to announce site map closing.

  • @Erin Jeavons-Fellows @Relativity Rltvty ( Kieze facilitation ) FYI in case you want to announce Kieze registration period ends or any other initiative to bring together those campers without camp.Add in the comments so we know how comes.

  • @Myriam TheWanderer when is the vehicle registration form coming out? And when does it end? So to create graphics and plan posts accordingly

  • 19.06 - 24.06: announcements on telegram and FB posts for ticket holders to prepare their tokens - the voting period is soon to start.

  • 23.06. no central bus of hippies to Freiland

  • 24.06 Kieze Meeting 7.30 pm

  • 24.06: Performance registration opens ( until 12th July)

  • 24.06 - 30.06: all week about DREAMS VOTING. And somehow promoting dreams.

  • 30.06 - 05.07: all about volunteer shifts to recruiting remaining shifts available.

  • 06.08 Kieze Registration ends

awesome, 24th sounds good so its gonna be a busy week with dreams voting and performances sign up, probably vehicle submission will be opening that week as well. Heya for outstanding Q's on the survival guide can we blast this out some time on the channels? Are there specific releases planned for the rest of this week?

Can someone who speaks german please make a call to the denim's taxi company to see if they operate this year and how? Survival guide says

"They will be at the Demmin train station when the trains arrive from Berlin or from the other direction (Greifswald) on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday afternoons. Saturday on demand. On Sunday they will come to the site at 4pm and then on demand and will shuttle back to the Demmin train station. 

On Wednesday they will be shuttling all the time back and forth - so there might be a short wait, yet this gives opportunities to meet other burners or see a tiny bit of Meck Pomm. :) 

● Operating hours of the taxi are: Wednesday all day (10 am - 10 pm) 

● To arrange transport outside of operating hours: Taxi Albrecht: 0172 9429569 

ATTENTION: If one of your taxi-comrade test positive to covid at the gate, you may all be asked to leave Kiez Burn

Probably wednesday 28.07.2021 so it goes as well on the newsletter on the 30th.
I'm still waiting for a few input (covid, grey water, toilet, legal/assurance and maybe luggage pick up) so it will totally depend on these teams availability

Sala Specifically I'm wanting to make sure that we have absolutely everything that any camp lead, realizer, dept.head etc (first aid, fire safety, swimming, sound protocols, dogs?? and such?) Really anyone who has an area of responsibility who has specific info they would like communicated to the community in the program. I have a burner email (lol) kiezburn2021program@gmail.com just will be the best place for me to compartmentalise this process, so people can just email me there. Do you think that will work?

I agree but please make a desitinction in beween gas cooker and other open fires, for the second one we don´t have sufficient safety measurements and banned them entirely.

No comment on the text, which I think is pretty good already, but… could it maybe be added to the fire safety check at the Kieze that you/they also check that each Kiez has a first aid kit?

Kieze FAQ doc already says that Kieze should bring their own first aid kit, though it is arguably not in very strong words. I wouldn’t make too big of a deal about it, but if you’re already there asking about the fire extinguisher I think it makes sense to say “great, and where is your first aid kit?”
