Hei @alexa , @jessewheaton , @kaigutzeit , @cristinaolano , @remyschneider , @alexxx , (and also other leads who you might wanna tag) ,

it was a hard decision, but I rejected the extra dream for money for greeters SWAG. Please read up on my decision in the results of the vote I did over in the dreams group where this discussion happened Link.

I think it would be great if leads who want to support the idea of a general SWAG (button in this case) for volunteers speak up here. My idea was that this could be cross founded by every lead chipping in a little bit. This is just a suggestion. Feel free to reject it. But I wanted to open the discussion on this with you here to make up for feeling super shitty about rejecting a dream for the first time. :) So I promised to enable this suggestion to be seen by you and other leads.

It would be great if you helped @verocarsala support you.

Also @alexxx - I wanted to kow from you whether this would be SUPER complicated to calculate? I imagine it COULD maybe be done a workaround (with gasoline invoices?)? Feel free to veto this idea as finance wizard. Especially tomorrow, since it is the 30th of april and you know why. Hugs!

Thanks for your attention <3

BTW: I will chip in a little bit at least from my private finances because I want every Dream Guide to Get volunteer swag if buttons happen!

maybe we should price out a few hundred buttons, @saskia31 might remember the general costs from gate last year. About how much do we need? Could we just keep in under 100€ and use production so we dont have to move mountains of stressed leads?

Hello people, can someone please put the first Aid shifts on the overview sheet at the beginning? I don’t know how to do it. And we need people!!! There only 4/18 full so far.

WOW!!! So many shifts filled already! I guess we need to push strike ppl a bit more no?

Also: given that the weather says that we will have continuous good weather @alexxx when should we start saying "we wont have a big fire"?

Indeed, It could get really messy if each Lead chips in a little from their budget to make it happen. Plus from the finance perspective, using Production money for swag, or dream money, doesn't make much of a difference - ticket holders pay for swag. But if it's done through the Dreams then it saves me some workload as it's all decided decentraly.

Solution: Leads get their budgets and expenditures together and hand them in. If they keep good documentation of how much they've spent and how mucht hey have left over, they can self organize in buying SWAG. So long as they communicate well with finance@kiezburn.org, we should be able to figure it out quite cleanly with the budget.

Next year I will be more involved in that discussion and share my thoughts on the dream/production divide (or lack thereof in this case).

Thank you Saskia for the initiative, I hope I can help out, as I like the idea of swag for volunteers. I have a tree full of Totems and Momentos from wonderful growth experiences x

we are gonna have around 50 rangers. so, im not sure what we could do for swag other than a pin which we might do ourselves. what do you think?

i dont think its likely to expect the individual leads to get in clear spending documentation early and self-organize around something like swag. That's a very high threshhold for a task many will put low on their todo list. Last year the final spending reports were submitted at christmas i believe, for reference.
