Usually pre-sales are good to minimize the risk if you buy a bunch of stuff and no-one shows up, but since it's co-created I guess the only expense is renting the venue? Unless there's art grants? It's also nice for compulsive planners like myself who don't like the idea of not getting in.

But cool, then I'll contact the Borderland port to get the check-in devices and @plomlompom about finances. I'll also try to do some recruiting for lead/co-lead around the Borderland and the new burners out of bounds nerd group (some programming skills is preferred). (If someone ticket curious reads this get in touch though.)

I'm doing CCCamp and Burning Man back to back starting next week, so intermittently online. In Berlin sometime after September 10th.

Nice, I think if we want to do tickets maybe it can be on eventbrite? i like the idea of
1. leaving all money at home
2. presale discount of 12 euro
3. On the door of 15

i think presales will also help us to gauge how much we need to promote extra to fill the club to the capacity necessary for the event

Ticketing is an optional lead position & mostly consists of presale. You are correct, Cris.
We thought that it might come in handy to have a presale this time. This is due to the fact that filling the club with enough people is our main concern at the current time. It gives us an estimate and it makes the queue easier to handle.

But we also said that it is not a real issue if tickets do not happen and we only have the door for entrance.

I think some folks would like the idea of going to an event leaving all cash at home as they know it's gonna be BYO & gifting. :D

@kris I would love to learn Floss. I did ticketing at the castle 🔥🐻 and it was hard... good to learn new tools. But now I am off for Burning Man like you. And: I don“t have any programming skills... but I will try to reach out to you after the 10th....
