Talk is getting buggy & slow
Is that just for me? But text input has immense delays and it is almost impossible to edit already posted things. It is also like that when I use another browser and even worse on the phone, of course. At least when typing fast it sometimes takes a significant amount of time for the text to appear on screen after finishing writing.
Just flagging this to check: Is it like that for others, or is that something the RM should have a look at?

I personally do not have that problem (laptop)

Thanks, seems to be an issue on my end, albeit a mysterious one.

Hmm, if this was a general issue it would probably turn up at https://github.com/loomio/loomio/issues
There is a bug report from 2019 that matches yours, but our version should have that one already fixed.
Other than that: talk (aka loomio) is far from being bug-free

Maybe talk is mining crypto in your device too...

Which browser are you using?

It is/was definitely a real issue, I’ve experienced it too on mobile when there’s lots of texts in a field.
Actually it might just be its doing lots of redraws and my phone is now beefy enough to deal with it (or I’m just less active).
Searching for “slow” brings up a lot of issues with no actual resolution https://github.com/loomio/loomio/issues/5178

Emptying the cache is the first thing I do when shit gets buggy & the issue persists over several internet connections.

It’s probably because Loomio sends every god damn key press to the server, it might be synchronous and you have a slow connection. It could also be that it’s leaking in the browser cache and you’re running out of storage, you can try deleting locally stored data for this site (it’s somewhere in the preferences of your browser).
(I’m not claiming ownershit of this issue, other than on the long term Talk Renewal Project)
