Liberating Structures (Group Facilitation Tools)
Summary: This website offers an alternative way to approach and design how people work together. It provides thirty-three Facilitation Tools to replace or complement conventional practices. They are easy-to-learn microstructures that enhance relational coordination and trust. They foster lively participation in groups of any size, making it possible to truly include and unleash everyone. Liberating Structures are meant to replace more controlling or constraining approaches of working in a group.
Relevance: As many of us often work with groups or in teams, a set of facilitation tools could be useful to make decisions, lead discussions, make plans etc. etc. – I haven't tried these structures, but they look quite promising. They were recommended by a Burner from the Israeli family.
