Kiez Burn Ride Shares!!

Hey I suggested on the sheet, sharing their telegram user @... instead of contact details like a phone number or email address... I have also protected the range from row 1 to row 10 only the orga can make changes to those.

Sorry the thread is not active same as the kiez transportation group. And the admin on kiez burn main group denied my post attempting to organize a shuttle. Don't know if i can be allowed to do post again on the main group?

We should put this out in the newsletter @Nora Flora announce that we don't have general bus of hippies this year no?

Hey hippies! From my point of view this is even more risky than organizing the transport in therm of possible contamination.

I understand it would be more work to organize it with the presence of Covid but if I'm not wrong, following the state regulations a simple fast test before embarking is enough. Furthermore As I understood we all will have to have most probably a fresh negative PCR anyway.

I also would like to add that the buses coming back were especially important, as many people are exhausted and very few are in the condition to drive.

Is this decision already final?

Heeey everybody! This is my first time to kiezburn. I'm taking a night flixbus from Amsterdam to Berlin, and I'll be in Berlin on Wednesday morning. I could take the train, but it would be wonderful to share a ride from Berlin to Kiezburn. Is this the right group to ask for a share ride? I'm looking forward to a message.

Especially for Kieze - if you're renting vans to transport things perhaps you can aim to transport campers' tents and larger things to site so that more space becomes free in cars for cramming many bums in there.

excellent idea... shall we do that with DM? Im actually worried how to get to site myself and all my gear, I don't drive 🤔

i actually put a row for that in muddis transport list. put your tents and stuff there and we will most probably have a ride.

the transportation facebook group was not moderated for a while. If you wish to organize a private transport by renting a bus together (which would be your private business and that of the people riding with you) etc. and that is do-able (by parking lead) you can post again and I will approve.

Which main group do you mean? 🤔 On Talk? I don't think the posts are moderated in that way here you should be able to start a post how you like.

However in terms of a shuttle, the reason we are not centrally organising this year is because it becomes quite complicated when factoring in the covid protocols. @Hanna-Maija (Animal) is the point of contact for Covid questions but I reccomend also checking out the covid thread which has the draft of the Protokol too. :)

Hi @Ceci the covid team as decided the Orga will not be doing general bus transport. It is uncertain how the situation will be getting closer to the event, as well as how exactly the testing procedure will be ( PCR, or quick test, Vaxx, testing at the gate or where, etc All this is uncertain until we get closer)

I understand you (as many of us) have questions and ideas to propose and do things differently, but the Covid team is who has been behind it all these months, there are many factors behind the decisions made.

Officially, the orga is not doing any transport this year, however, camps feel free to organize yourselves, and If the situation changes a week or two before the event and the Covid team gives us the green light, then we might do it. As for now, I recommend you not to rely on this and rather prepare your ride.

Just to say that while we don't still know exactly what our testing protocol will be until it is approved by the Gesundheitsamt, taking a bus together even if self organised could mean the risk of the whole bus getting turned away from the event in the case of one positive test. (Also we are taking into account the risk of a false positive. The Covid team are still working out the finer details of how we could quarantine/get someone a PCR to confirm a neg/pos to hopefully get them back onto site asap if it's a false result).
