Can someone please add this content to newsletter? Thanks <3

ecem Tue 23 Apr 2019 2:19PM

Hi Kate, when is the next newsletter? You can share this link for both application forms:

walto Tue 23 Apr 2019 4:11PM

I pinned it to the top of the group. I would advise to put the wording above a little bit more focused on WHY people would do the effort of putting in all their info into some form...

maybe sharing the picture of the amazingly designed booklet as well?

Annette Fri 3 May 2019 1:44PM

do we already have a time set for the opening and the burn(s)? we are planning the UnderWorld programm and want to consider these important times! @waldo @ecem @alexxx

Annette Fri 3 May 2019 1:46PM

also: when can we start with the program/music on wednesday? also a power question @svendudink

Sven Dudink Sun 5 May 2019 1:15PM

@berlinette we go with the same power provider as last year and we will go with the same system so generators will be delivered on thuesday and will run for sure wednesday all day

Henrik 馃 Sun 5 May 2019 4:13PM

The Temple of Eros would like to offer their home to workshops and events. Do we need to register?

ecem Thu 16 May 2019 1:09PM

@erinjeavonsfellows, do you think you can place the art installations on the map as well? @saskia31 had some suggestions on this.

Erin Jeavons-Fellows Thu 23 May 2019 1:37PM

once again, if anyone would like to write an intro for the program, please help out

Erin Jeavons-Fellows Thu 23 May 2019 1:32PM

@cristinaolano @waldo @saskia31
Doing a map with the suggestions above will take me at least 2 full days to create. I have got someone else to help me with the map but also confined to what they can do in the time left before its due to print (ie, 30 may). My priority is the program. If anyone would like to help with map design, please contact me. we can work together on it.
get me on facebook:

walto Fri 24 May 2019 12:41PM

@remyschneider ?

Saskia Thu 23 May 2019 1:38PM

Absolutley, you're doing so damn much <3 Set your priorities, you working bee.

Jan Thomas Wed 8 May 2019 8:17PM

@berlinette the event officially (with Ordnungsamt) starts 3pm on the Wednesday. We're obviously allowed to do soundchecks etc. beforehand but stages shouldn't start running ongoingly before 3pm.

Alex Kaos Sat 4 May 2019 7:51AM

Burn is not yet set. 11pm-1am on Friday is most likely, but could be on the Saturday (weather and feuerwehr dependent). Ole is overlooking the Effigy burn this year, and Alex Kasper is the dreamer.

ecem Fri 10 May 2019 8:24AM

Is Temple of Eros part of a kiez?

Erin Jeavons-Fellows Thu 9 May 2019 12:57PM

You can chat to Ecem about this or contact

Alex Kaos Mon 13 May 2019 12:07PM

Thanks Leobard. That was our logic for last year, and probably a good move for this year as well. @ole , what do you think?

Saskia Thu 16 May 2019 11:14PM

IF one wants to portray certain 'Points of interest' (starting of performances which moves and stuff) a grid could be a solution. That's just an idea I am throwing in. If there is not that much that could be found via a grid like such, it is totally unneccessary of course.

Cris Thu 16 May 2019 8:34PM

Hi there! @erinjeavonsfellows , thank you for doing this, first of all.
The prioritization you propose (first content, then maybe map) seems very reasonable. In my opinion, and although I personally agree with your reasons (getting lost is great!) still find that the map is quite important to have. Last year it was really useful already during build (previous version) but also Rangers were using it quite a lot.
It could be simple (I was looking for other year's versions, but couldn't find them) but even that requires a lot of work, I know. So I could help you out with something (indesign, photoshop, illustrator) Let me know.

Erin Jeavons-Fellows Thu 16 May 2019 1:15PM

I honestly dont think we need a map
1. the place is not that big
2. we all figure it out in the end
3. radical self reliance
4. immediacy
Being lost in kiezburn is what makes it fun .
detailing art installations wont fit on the map. if we do a map, then it will just show kieze. Das was.

ecem Thu 16 May 2019 1:24PM

I think we should do a simple map for these though @erinjeavonsfellows

Erin Jeavons-Fellows Thu 16 May 2019 4:14PM

What do we expect this map to look like? Creating a custom map is alot of work and will require at least 6-7 hours on al already short time line. Personally i feel the map is a 'nice to have' on top of the other content in the booklet.
I've created a folder here that houses all the content for the booklet. The spreadsheet is a copy doc. We should populate this first and then we deal with the map?

walto Fri 24 May 2019 12:41PM

Agree with Saskia, alternatively, we just print the map of last year without the camps etc on it of last year... I put you in touch with robby directly so maybe there is some low effort solution there...

Cris Fri 24 May 2019 2:35PM

That's a great idea!

walto Fri 24 May 2019 2:41PM

Cris Fri 24 May 2019 2:50PM

amazing, 隆gracias!

Ole Mon 13 May 2019 3:47PM

@Alexxx, we should then do the burn on Friday night and have Saturday night as backup. How far is the booklet etc? Can we still change easily?
@Leobard, thanks!

Henrik 馃 Mon 13 May 2019 4:07PM

nope. it's a dream that received funding

Leobard Sun 12 May 2019 8:39AM

@ole and alex kasper: we in Austria found Fridays much better for burn night. Less headache on Sunday for LNT, a time for hugs and exchanging stories on Saturday, and if weather drowns Friday, you can move it to Saturday

Bobschi Mon 13 May 2019 1:05PM

I can agree. Having the burn on Friday was a wonderful thing last year. I would love for that to happen again. <3

ecem Tue 14 May 2019 10:29PM

Hi @berlinette : unfortunately the time is not fixed yet but let's try to take a decision tomorrow at the General Assembly. I will let you know in any case.

ecem Tue 16 Apr 2019 11:19PM

@loomikate @clement @erinjeavonsfellows @remyschneider Hello communicorns! I鈥檝e just posted the application announcement as this but could you please communicate it in your channels? Newsletter, website, FB etc. Thank you and let me know if you need anything else 馃

ecem Thu 16 May 2019 1:19PM

My personal opinion is that adding tens of art installations on a small map would just make the map look messy. We already have 30 kiezes + 5 Kborg area + 4 additional Workshop spaces coming from the Dreams. We cannot list everything on the map.

walto Thu 16 May 2019 9:34PM

@ness3 & @remyschneider do you see NEMDO?

walto Thu 16 May 2019 9:33PM

We could also distribute the maps simply printed on an A4, and then people can take it or not. But that is super cheap and easier + maybe even clearer (since it is bigger than what we had last year)

This is the map in the booklet of the first year btw.
