Opening Ceremony -Budget

Holaaa my lovelies!! Thank you for everyone who helped this happen- it was incredible! I just got back from Fusion but this week I will post an update and make the finances part. many many soulhugs ❤️

Holaa amigos! How is it going?
THE OPENING CEREMONY HAPPENED! IT WORKED AGAINST SOME ODDS ! wohoo wohoo wohoo.
Francis and Jan made miracles happen, from long talks with Freiland to Francis getting the huge truck , banging some lights, and driving like a pro to arrive 7 minutes before the nursery closed just so we could get the Blueberry Bush :)
Not only that, but in just 4 days we raised all the funds with the community ( and I was on site half of the days ),so thank you every single of you for helping this happen.
I am preparing some postcards of the tree to send to those who donated or want one :)

Now, I want to bring ask for feedback regarding the financial side.
After fees we raised €109.88 .
The blueberry plus the compost and manouver was 72,80 € ( I attached a photo of the ticket ) and I add 10 € for gas . That leaves us with a total os 82,80 € .
What should we do with the 27.08 € leftover?
I could save it/ give it to finances/wherever is best and use it for the opening ceremony of the decompression? or plant more trees all together?

Let me know what you guys think and which ways I can make this as transparent as possible.

Dear Daisy,

do not listen to my voice only. But from my POV it'd be super cool if you invested the rest of the money to create seed bombs & send them with the thank you card/letter to the people who donated. :)

Hey Daisy - I think that the idea of investing the money to gift people who donated is a really nice idea! for sure you can use the left over funds for this if it's enough xx

I have been crazy busy these last weeks but I will work on the thank you gift these weekend :) I will include the poems i wrote when i was chilling by the tree during the burn hehe

This is amazing work, a real shining example of radical self-reliance with a heart of gifting. You managed to organize everything without financial support from KBOrg, and so I would argue you should decide what to do with the remaining funds with your investors. Saskia's idea to send all of them seed bombs seems incredibly fitting and poetic end to such an incredible story. Thank you for being you x x

wonderful planning. Really good. Thanks for the work and taking all the critique into account.
Here is a tip for the seeds: You could try and make a DIY Seedbomb workshop after the ceremony. Seedbombs can be done wiht natural stuff that's 100% quickly decompostable like Tonerde / clay. Maybe you can get in touch with the people who make the communal oven as they may have some leftover material for such an idea.

The seedbombs can then be distributed freely and in line with what I personally would consider to be LNT.

You should start the crowdfunding qucikly, as a lot of people are leaving for build. :)
