Build - things that are good to know

It is not going to be an easy year, but it sure as hell is going to be fantastic! - Bob the builder -
Some key stuff:
- Official build starts on Saturday 16th and ends Wednesday 21/06 12:00 (no cars allowed on site thereafter)
- Event ends & strike starts Sunday 24/06 early afternoon
- Build safe! If anything, it really slows you down and ruins the atmosphere
Build materials
Through the KBORG build crew
- you can enter your material (wood, shade,...) desires here: http://bit.ly/2KCGxSC
- you can enter your tools (stuff you need to build) desires (that you then can lend out from on site) here: http://bit.ly/2HOPUAZ
Sources for material close to Berlin:
- Material Mafia http://www.material-mafia.net
- Kunst Stoffe Berlin: Central Department for Reusable Materials e.V. https://kunst-stoffe-berlin.de/
Sources for material close to site:
- Tools: Niemann is a garden service center for renting Mini-Diggers - https://www.niemann-gartentechnik.de/
- Wood: http://www.saegewerk-loitz.de/cms/index.php?id=25 - Mr. Schwadtke is cool and will also flexibly deal stuff under the table & deliver to site also
- Local cool guy Andreas with high quality wood, which is more costly though & you’d need to pick up ourselves (Mobile number on request through @bandit )
Tips & Tricks
There are so many small tips to building constructions in windy environments, with hopefully a lot of sun and hopefully little rain (but don't count on it). You need to think of how to put up shade, which areas need to be absolutely dry, where does power come in, where does the fire extinguisher go, what about the kitchen? Do we want to put the water cube up high, so we have an easy washing station? How to support that? What about the poles, how high should they go, how to protect them from ripping the shade cloth. What about deco, what about digging the holes in the ground. etc.etc. We are here to help.

@bandit is there a closing time for the Toolhaus? Does Toolhaus close to Kieze the Wednesday 12:00 or later?

@bandit when would there be a confirmation if the tools that are desired will be available at Kiez burn? As in the sheet that you posted?

@all: anybody else purchasing rolls of Sichtschutzgewebe/Sonnenshutz/Sichtschutznetz ? I was thinking of purchasing a blue color, but having difficulties in finding good prices. Anybody else out there also struggling with this and wanting to share knowledge?
I found these guys in Berlin: http://stores.ebay.de/Bauzaun-Discount with this relatively good angebot: https://www.ebay.de/itm/50-m-lang-Bauzaunnetz-Sichtschutznetz-Bauzaun-Zaunblende-Windschutznetz-/272747068474?var=&hash=item8526d273b3

toolhouse closes at 12pm on Wednesday. All tools that are out will be ruthlessly hunted and checked back in. please plan your build accordingly.

Hei toolhouse, I would like to bring my sackkarre and make it available to use during build. I mainly bring it so I can go back home by public transport if needed.
It needs to be transportet to the side. I would prefer to have it with me in the DM van but I have no clue if that fits.
Specifics: Air tires suitable for the ground at side, can carry up to 200kg, see picture
a) Is toolhouse / production interested in using the sackkarre
b) If yes - should I bring it to soulbottles (properly tagged of course) for production to take with them in the build material bus or to another place

so far there are only 2 tools to hire, 1 being the power auger, which I can't find effectively in the area (we have a hand one). it's also very expensive, so if we can get away with NOT having to hire an expensive, hard to source tool that only 1 camp will use I'd prefer to avoid.
all the rest we have. its also indicated on the sheet.

I also added a motorsense to the tools list, as I think some kieze (not deine mudda) will need it.

I have this vivid image of me running off cackling crazily with a hammer in my hand, borrowed from Toolhaus :D

@bandit Thanks for the reply! As far as i can see, there are 3 camps that need a power auger (out of the 4 that filled something in, so probably indicating a high use)? For us it is absolutely essential for the build, where doing it by hand would be bordering suicide... ;) Could we help with sourcing it?
In Nowhere it is the #1 most wanted tool. I personally anticipate a high usage. If you want the camps to organize it separately, we can, but would be great if KBORG could finance it.
