Kiez Burn Map

Hey hey, I open this thread coz I read in many threads and conversations we need a map of kiez burn, not only the site planning but a nicer version to put up in booklets and show to rangers etc

Interested in creating the map? hit the comments

We need these people to come together, coordinate the efforts:

@Jarrod Wright event program and booklet thingy Realizer

@Jessie & @Cris Ranger Lead & experienced ranger with a lot of precious and not precious information about some and these things. They will request a visible pin in the map

@Aleks : Welfare lead, also important pin in the map

@Cairn (Clément) site planning and placement to point out the access, First aid location, site leads station location, and all kieze + art pieces

@Erin Jeavons-Fellows Kiez Burn graphics Realizer (request logos and Theme graphic access if needed)

IMPORTANT PINS ON THE MAP

  • (Basically, everything that was there on 2019's map - with the names of the camps changed-)

  • First aid

  • welfare

  • gate

  • Rangers Headquarters

  • Site Leads Headquarters

Awesome! apparently Bu Oz said on Facebook he wanted to make one (new one ???) not sure. I also open this space to have this topic on talk as documentation of all that we do to make Kiez burn this year. Do you have the folder with the design to share here?

yes,I for instance I didn't know the wristbands gwere made by the gate, But actually the gate doesn't really design it, so there are some things to align....here is the same thing, they go together but not the same person necessarily makes them

Head ups about the fact that the map may look quite different, with the gate somewhere else, new paths (therefore new potential exits) and different parking structure, since the parking lot on the further right may not be available anymore.

Hey all! As I've mentioned before on the facebook thread, I could offer to modify the 2019 Map to the 2021 content :) Though if there's someone already making the booklet for the event (as Bee mentioned), perhaps I could also simply send them the working files and they adapt it themselves? Anyway, I'm attaching the 2019 map here

Even though last time's map was pretty cool and beautiful, I got several times the feedback, that it was difficult to read. I told this to Boaz, when he showed interest.

This info is in the event of someone wanting to do a new one, if that's not the case, then hippies will just need to learn how to read art :)
