First thread of the season
Hey guys, so I thought it would be cool to make the space for next years planning already, and give everyone a location they can head to to start chatting and organizing the experience.
We have a lot of takeaways from this last Burn, which went exceptionally well from an organizational perspective, with only a few major headaches we need to urgently address. For the most part the errors were minor and the learnings un-painful.
In this thread, just start free-styling thoughts on what to do and how to do it. Use the space to get used to the Talk platform and really go META in the discussion.

Amazing @Professor Kaos great summary and great news too! i am excited about reading the census 2021.
And yes, let's talk about HOW we will sell tickets next time, definitely a lot to improve there @Saskia (The Fuzzy Facilitator) are we leading the tickets team? Lol
I think the tickets thread could already be open to discussing how many tickets, how many free campers? are we doing a lottery? (please no "first come first served") all these questions are already burning in my mind.

So we already had an informal chat about running ticket sales on the 1st January already, before we have a location confirmed or dates.
We were thinking this would lock things in for the large number of us that are dedicated Kiez Burn cultists, and build the momentum we need to have plenty of time to prepare for an event in (preferably) June. With lots of time to prepare for Dreams, Site planning, Kieze and Sound+Safety protocols we should have an even smoother event.
Fyi, at this stage (20.08.21) we had only 1 informal sound complaint, 1 reported incident of consent violation (with no harm done), 0 positive covid cases and the worst injury was a fish-hook in the foot (which was definitely unpleasant, but no long-term damage done). So all-in-all, our late organization was stressful, but things went prettty smoothly!!!!
