I had a look and as of now, our approach is that there will be no open fire being allowed in camps or anywhere. To avoid confusion, I recommend that we comunicate it as simple as that. If they have a dream that involves fire they need to get in contact with me :)

For First Aid I'd like you to mention that every camp need their own basic supply of normal pain killer and bandages, the First Aid Tent is mainly for bigger things than a cut or hangover. There was some confusion about it in 2019.

Contract not yet signed but the agreement is there.

They will require power, a handwashing station and a toilet from us. (I'm already in touch with the realizers and got green lights)

I briefed them about our special ways, once on site I´ll take a tour with them and provide a detailed briefing about our protocols, camps and general organisation as well as how to interact with hippies.

I did arrange food from DeineMudda but will check up on it, to make sure.

I don´t have a back up scenario execept staying sober and doing it myself the whole festival. The company already started to activate their employees for the dates that we need.

Onsite inspection and meeting happend during Spark.

I already informed build about the requirements for the FD.

FD mostly will feed themselves as they are carnivore and cant handle our supirior diet. ;)

Site placement is arranged next to First Aid.

@Franzi by "radio code sheet" you mean a list of which channel different groups are using? I think it was determined after KB18 that printing the channels before the event didn't make sense because you will potentially need to switch channels when you get there if there is significant noise or usage in the area. That being said, in KB19 I happened to bring a printer on site an ended up printing out small lists which were then taped to the side of every radio (see pic). I don't necessarily want to have the responsibility for that again, but it is achievable.

How about we pre-print them and just need to write in the numbers once we have determined? Happy to print & help with that in build, mind numbing repetitive tasks are my forte.

Also will we have enough radios to be able to have 1x radio 24/7 for sober board lead? (Probably on emergency or unique channel.)

I proposed to @Franzi that we have an additional “on-call” channel added to the safety protocol that would only be used to get in touch with sober board lead or meta-Site Lead.

I like the idea of printing them out and only filling in the numbers on site.

Dear @Jack if you call me tmr early afternoon, we will have the exact amount of toilets which some of us have already seen last weekend confirmed from Freiland. 👍

There was really a slight misunderstanding; so far we agreed with Freiland that we're going to support them in building shiny new eco compost toilets for about the same amount the external contractor charged us in 2019. Since it recently became clear they can't build the same amount of toilets that we really need, the 4K (toilets budget for 2019) needs to be split in three parts...

  • 1 part for Freiland (% of the total sum we paid in 2019, can you find out what 1 toilet costs?)

  • 1 part for this year's toilet rental company

  • 1 part for waste management & consumables

  • Art project placement rules: Outside of Kieze, Playa is also dedicated for this. Exceptions to be discussed on a case by case basis between the Dreamer, Dream Guide and Site Planning.

  • Final site planning version for infrastructure planning: same as 2019, map of the site in the works, will be delivered after Sparks.

  • Demarcate no-go areas: Same as 2019, will be confirmed during Sparks with Freiland. Areas will be demarcated on site by myself and Anca during Build. (We might request an extra pair of hands, tbd)

@Jack We don´t have the official law regulations yet as only last week the MV Landesverordnung made it possible to proceed with the permit. But you can count with at least 10x female, 6x male + 10x urinals (we apply for 950 participants).

@Annette @Jan Thomas @Kate Good Morning! Do you know what the legal (Amt) requirements are for how many toilets we need as a minimum for our event size? There was a misunderstanding as to how much budget we actually have available for toilets because I found out a large chunk (4k of the 5k) is actually already promised to freiland and thereby not really available any more. There are also costs for waste management and consumables, so I want to make sure the basics are covered first.

Heya @Franzi! Would you like to lead a session going through the new Protocols with as many of us as can make it from the list of folk who are affected/able to give advice?

It is not so much notice but the only day I have off is Sunday this week. Anyone up for having brunch & important discussions together? Would give us a chance to then feedback anything relevant (if needed) on Monday.

Would also be interested in bringing up the swimming discussion either together with you, if not at the KORG on Monday.
