What is a VIP ticket?

You're welcome to submit better copy and we can discuss it. I've solicited feedback from the almost 200 people who've already gone through the process and there's very few complaints about the copy that's there (and quite some praise). The rationale of asking for money above 95 eur is carefully explained in both English and pirate on the next page.

Sorry if it comes off that way. I think it's legit criticism. Even the first comment in the screenshot they posted above says "The first ticket option is a bit confusing. Would explain it more if you want supporter tickets." So it's not just me. I don't have anything against humor, but sometimes people need real information.

I am definitely annoyed that they don't seem to want to take anyone else's opinion into account (here and elsewhere). And that they've repeatedly made personal attacks and other troll behavior. I don't think that's how this community is meant to work.

Then as I said, maybe we should say that up front. I honestly questioned whether I should enter my credit card on a site that had unclear information and looked like a joke.

I can't/shouldn't write any copy for it because I have no transparency into what the purpose or reasoning for it was.

Yeah, if you want to micromanage you have to at a minimum put in the effort to write the copy yourself. I'm not going to send drafts to you until you find one you find acceptable.

I'm under no obligation to make sense to you or anyone else. I'm a volunteer, I'm having fun, and you wanting everything to be squeakily clean and humorless seems like a you problem to be honest.
